On June 22nd, 2025, Counsellor. Cui Yin, spouse of the Chinese Ambassador of Botswana, attended the Medical Outreach Program themed “Together for African Children – Health, Hope and a Brighter Future” carried out by the 17th China Medical Team in Botswana in SOS Children's Village, Tlokweng. More than 80 people including Mr. Motshwari Kitso, national director of SOS village , Kgosi Lazarus Ikalafeng, community leader of the children’s village Botswana, Mr. Fan Wandong, Administrative Team Leader of the China medical team, members of the medical team, and representatives from the Chinese community, staff from the Chinese Embassy attended the event.

On behalf of the Embassy, Counselor Cui Yin made donations to SOS Children's Village to improve the living conditions of the village and had friendly conversations with views with the staff and villagers.

During event, the medical team gave health care lectures and provided medical counseling, blood pressure and glucose testing services for the staff of the Children's Village and local villagers. Representatives of the Chinese community also donated health supplies, medicines and food.
