On 11th June, H.E. Ambassador Fan Yong meets with Hon. Dithapelo Keorapetse, Speaker of Botswana National Assembly.

Ambassador Fan congratulated Honorable Speaker Keorapetse on his successful visit to China and attending of the Fourth Dialogue on Exchanges and Mutual Learning Among Civilizations with several other Members of Parliament. He said that Both China and Botswana have a long history of civilization.  Under the guidance of Global Civilization Initiative proposed by President Xi Jinping, China will continue to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with Botswana parliament and other organizations and promote new development in people-to-people and cultural exchanges and cooperation between our two countries.

Hon. Speaker Keorapetse said that he is very satisfied of leading the delegation of the National Assembly of Botswana to attend the Fourth Dialogue on Exchanges and Mutual Learning Among Civilizations in Dunhuang, a famous city in China. He will share the experiences and knowledge acquired from the visit with other Members of Parliament and look forward to jointly working with the Chinese counterparts to promote the development of bilateral relations.
