On July 24th, Chinese Embassy in Botswana and the Office of the First Lady jointly organized an even of handover of school uniforms and stationery donated by Chinese Fujian Province. H.E. Fan Yong, Chinese Ambassador to Botswana, his spouse Counselor Cui Yin and Ms. Goitsemang Morekisi, Permanent Secretary of Ministry for State President attended.

Ambassador Fan said that China continues to actively cooperate with Botswana and work for greater progress in promoting children's well-being. The Chinese Embassy is willing to take the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations as an opportunity to further deepen practical cooperation with the Office of the First Lady and make more contributions to the welfare and educational development of children in Botswana.

Ms. Goitsemang Morekisi thanked China's long-term support on the welfare of women and children in Botswana, highly appreciated the generous support made by the People's Government of Fujian Province and the Chinese Embassy. Botswana looks forward to further strengthening exchanges and cooperation between the two sides in areas such as women, children, culture and education.
