The Secretariat of the Chinese Follow-up Committee of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation Holds Collective Consultation with the Diplomatic Envoys of African Countries to China

On June 22, 2021, the Secretariat of the Chinese Follow-up Committee of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) held collective consultation with the diplomatic envoys of African countries to China. Secretary General of the Chinese Follow-up Committee of the FOCAC and Director-General of the Department of African Affairs of the Foreign Ministry Wu Peng co-chaired the consultation with Senegalese Ambassador to China Mamadou Ndiaye, whose country holds the co-chair of the FOCAC. Dean of the African Diplomatic Corps to China and Cameroonian Ambassador to China Martin Mpana, and diplomatic envoys of other African countries and the African Union to China were present. The two sides exchanged in-depth views on the implementation of the outcomes of the FOCAC Beijing Summit and the preparation for the next meeting of the FOCAC.
